{Birthday Series} Dinosaur Invitations

Here's yet another order I completed last month for a little boy turning three who loves dinosaurs.
I was very excited to make this invitation because this was my first time cutting the little dinosaur and putting him together.  Of course, he is from one of my all time favorite cartridges, Create a Critter, and he has succeeded in proving once again why CAC is so perfect for little kids birthday parties.
I just think this little dino is so darn CUTE!
What do you think?

Dinosaur Birthday Invitation

The invitation says:
ROAARRR!
Come join us for a
DINO-MITE Party.
Our little (child's name)-asaurus
is turning 3!

I added a little googly eye to each dinosaur!

Of course I pop-dotted the dino off the invitation to give it a little more dimension!

I had so much fun putting this little guy together and adding the little googly eye.  I definitely think it came out great and I know the little boy absolutely loved it!

If you are interested in this invitation or any other custom invitation for any occasion feel free to email me HERE for more information and current pricing.  I would love to make something custom for you so please do not hesitate to ask :)

{Birthday Series} Butterfly Collection Goodie Bags

I was asked to make some goodie bag tags that coordinates with the butterfly invitations and the butterfly banner.  You can check out the collection by clicking HERE and HERE!
Here's some photos of the invitation I created for this little girl's first birthday!  Please note: all confidential information has been removed to respect the privacy of my customer.

I used the same butterfly and scalloped shape to make the tags for the goodie bags.  I also added a little note to the back saying "Thanks for coming! xo, (name)"

She also wanted a couple of boy themed tags to give out to the boys attending the party.  We decided on a frog with the same saying on the back.

Here are the three tags all together.  Which one is your favorite?
Well, tags would not be complete without the bags to tie them to.  So here is the finished product!

If you are interested in ordering any goodie bags and tags please email me at ktdesigns-katania@hotmail.com.  I can send you more information, provide you with a quote, or create something custom for your event!

Monkey Frame

For my niece's birthday I created a decorative frame for her parents to display a birthday photo of her.  The frame included Eeyore and a butterfly as well as first birthday and her name.  You can read all about it and view pictures HERE.  I was pleasantly surprised by how many people really liked the frame and was super excited to bring in a new order.  The order I received was for a little boy's baby shower.  The request was for a monkey theme with the colors blue and cream.  They also wanted the first and middle name on the bottom of the frame.  This is the design I came up with!
What do you think?

I used Create a Critter for the monkeys and the vine and was able to open up my new cart (Happy Mother's Day to me) Nate's ABCs for the letters.  I love how schoolbookish the letters are (lol, not really sure if that is a word but I like it).
Now some close ups...

Sorry for the horrible photos, it has been raining here nonstop for a few days now and I had to drop off the frame on Monday so I didn't have any time to take some new photos outside.

I am not sure if you can tell but the two monkeys are pop dotted just a little bit to give them some dimension.

How stinkin' cute is this little guy!!!

I absolutely love making these frames because they are so fun and easy to make and the sky really is the limit.  Who am I kidding... I love any excuse to craft and make something beautiful or just plain cute.  Thanks for looking :)

Birthday Series: Butterfly Birthday Party Invitations

Here's a early sneak peek for you for the birthday party I will be attending with the little man tomorrow.  My niece will be ONE!!!  My cousin asked me to create 40 invitations for her daughter's birthday party.  The theme for the party is butterflies.    Enjoy:)

The invitation says:

Butterfly kisses,
Giggles and fun,
Our little Princess Butterfly (my niece's nickname) (original saying was flutterby)
(child's name) is turning (age)!

Flutter on down to:
(address)
(date)

RSVP to the Queen Butterfly

The wording on the invitation is not my original idea.  When I googled butterfly party invitation wording this is what I found and I fell in love with it right away.

I used BoBunny paper with polka dots for the background.

I pop dotted the butterfly so the wings would pop up when you took it out of the envelope.
I used my Cricut to cut out the scalloped circle and the butterfly.  Cartridges used were Mini Monograms and Create a Critter respectively.
You can really see the dimension in this photo with the scalloped circle and butterfly wings.

This is how I package the orders.  My labeled bag and some ribbon to make a cute presentation.

If you are interesting in ordering custom invitations for any event (child's birthday, adult birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, etc.) please feel free to leave me a comment with your contact information or email me HERE for current pricing and options. Note: All invitations come with envelopes.

Baby Room Shadow Boxes

After creating the shadow boxes for new babies, I decided that Baby R needed some decorations in his room.  So... since he absolutely loves animals I decided to make him some pop-dotted animal art.  Seriously, I use way TOO many pop dots in my daily crafting.  I replace my pop dots more often than my glue runner tape!!! I also used my favorite tool in the whole wide world, my cricut, and the Create a Critter cartridge.  Maybe some day I will write down the sizes and then I can share them with you, but until then the pics will have to do!

The giraffe (my fav)
The lion
The elephant

The Zebra

BUT...I also created a few more because I just can't get enough of the Create a Critter cartridge and well those animals are so darn cute!!!  Here's the underwater version I created.  I used clear plastic acetate sheets and little clear dot thingers (?) to make it look like water and bubbles floating up.

BUT... he he I wasn't done because I just had to make a girly version of the set so I created the insect set which is my fav but wouldn't really work in Baby R's room nor would my husband let me hang them in there.
So, I get to share them with you!

I wish you could see the actual frames in person because then you can see all the dimension so much easier.  They really were very easy to make and very fun!  Some of these might go into my etsy shop as soon as I open it.  I guess one thing at a time! I would love to hear what you think :)
